Hit and Ride

Outfit: Coat: Vintage Thrifted, Tights: Target, Shoes: Thrifted, Gloves: Target, Purse: Thrifted

After yesterdays post you all know by now that I'm a little bit o' sunshine and a lot of ornery but today I crossed a line I never thought I'd touch. You guys have already seen the worst side of me so lets put a little icing on that disgusting cake. I may have had an incident today including a man...and a hit and ride. I was riding my bike to school in the frigid air rushing a little faster than usual trying to get out of the miserable cold when out of the blue a guy just stepped right in front of my bike. I'd never had a situation like this but luckily I had my sense dictionary with me, it said to brake, so I did....and my brakes were frozen. So I plowed right through some innocent man all the while yelling the fastest apology I could get out of my blubbering lips and zoomed right through him. I must have looked like the biggest jerk of all jerks not even slowing down for someone mauled over and frantically screaming, "Whooooaahaaah ahhhh ahhhhh I'M SO SORRY!!!!"
I tell you, icing on the cake of my awkward life.

  2. Love the coat! Sorry about your icy run-in; we've been having an unusual amount of snow in Tennessee so everyone's flipping their lids here, too. I'll be glad when it's spring!!

  4. Your whole outfit is amazing.Love the coat! OMG I hope you're ok. I can't believe he didn't even stop!! How rude. You are not a jerk - you did what most girls would've done.. You were probably scared and everything came too quick to fully react. Completely normal.
I hope you have a better day today.

p.s I went through your whole blog and I love it. Can't wait for more. :)

  11. Ummm, so this might demonstrate that I am a horrible person, but that is kind of hilarious! Nor do I think you are at fault - clearly, the person stepping into the road without even looking to see(or caring) if anyone was coming.

I just hope the lack of brakes didn't end in disaster for you, as it would me!!

Love that cape/poncho by the way!
