Too Good To Be True

The following events are real and happened to real people, some names have been changed to protect their identity.
Outfit: Blouse: Thrifted (Ralph Lauren), Skirt: Made by me, Pin: Grandma'd, Tights: Kohl's, Clogs: Target

I credit this skirt to a fortune cookie. It started as such, all the girls took a shopping trip to Valencia and we ended up at lunch and I kid you not this was in my fortune cookie.
This may be the coolest thing that's every happened to me. But really. I could list the many reasons but I'd rather just cherish my sweet cookie irony. So all giddy I crumpled that little fortune in my purse to keep and felt my little creative bubbles bursting from out of me with excitement as I ventured home to go create, two skirts later and me and Mr. Fortune have made quite the pair. Please tell me of all your crazy ironic and awesome stories because these things are just too fun to not share.

  9. I love fortune cookies!
Last year I was fuh-Reaking out with nerves before I started my teaching placement and the day before I started I went for a meal with my girlies (to try to calm me down essentially) and I got a fortune cookie that said 'Monday is your lucky day, enjoy it'. Its not as specific as your cookie but it was quite cool to get. That Monday was my lucky day, the fortune is still stuck to my pin board, looking at me right now!

Ps, the skirt is adorable and I love the colour =]

And speaking of fortune cookies, when my husband and I started dating, I got a fortune cookie that read, "A new relationship is about to blossom. You will be blessed." It couldn't have been more spot on :)
